Chambery Airport Access

The Chambery Airport is located in the town of Viviers-du-Lac, 3.5 miles/6 kilometres south of Aix-les-Bains and 5 miles/8 kilometres north of Chambery. The airport is just off the A41 Autoroute, Exit 13 (Chambery Nord) if coming from the north and the exit for the D1201 road if coming from Chambery. After exiting the Autoroute follow the airport signs.

The airport now has a bus station. It is to the left when you exit the terminal.

There is taxi service at Chambery Airport. The taxi stand is just in front of the terminal building. The cost to take a taxi from the airport to the Chambery train station is 20 euros, the trip takes about 10 minutes.

It is possible to buy coach tickets on line for a number of destinations, including Courchevel, Val D'isere, Les Arcs, Meribel to name a few. For information see the Shuttle Direct web site or the Altibus Chambery Airport page.
