Bus to the Train Station
Question:
Is there a bus from Chambery airport to Chambery train station? If so how much does it cost and what is its timetable. We arrive at the airport 12.45 on 08/01/12.
Answer:
If there is this winter, I can’t find it. This page on the official web site has a booking engine for coaches - http://www.chambery-airport.com/rubrique.php3?id_rubrique=53. But it’s not showing anything and the schedule link only has transfers to ski stations, might have to just take a taxi for 20-25€.
Question:
I need to get from the airport to train station at about 1800hrs. Is it walk able - or is there a bus? Grateful for any advice.
Answer:
I wouldn’t say it is walk able. I couldn’t find (January 2010 - It should be noted that something like this changes from year to year.) a regular bus running between the airport and the train station and I couldn’t contact the airport. So my suggestion is if there isn’t a bus take a taxi. It will cost about 20€.
